Background Story: Remus grew up in a small, countryside house outside of Edinburgh, Scotland. His family was never very rich, but had enough money to make ends meet. Remus never had the best toys, or clothes, or gadgets, but he didn’t mind. All he needed since he was a child to make amuse himself were books. His mother had an extensive collection of books in their small, crammed library up in the attic. He was a pale, thin child who loved to read.
When he was very young, his father had gotten into an argument at a local pub with well-known werewolf Fenrir Greyback, so when poor, sweet, young Remus was reading his favorite book outside under the moonlight, he was caught unaware and bitten by the werewolf.
Remus and his parents thought he wouldn’t be able to attend Hogwarts with his lycanthropy, but Professor Dumbledore fabricated a passage from Hogwarts to the old Shrieking Shack, planting the Whomping Willow to block anyone from going near the passage. After fabricating rumours that the shack was haunted, Remus was able to attend Hogwarts and lead a fairly normal life. He merely had to say his mother was ill and he was going to visit her on every full moon.

"Sirius! Let's not talk about this here...someone might overhear." A young slender like boy said, his hazel eyes as wide as saucers. His thin hands were trying to cover the other rambunctious boys mouth, but to no avail.
"What? That you...are my secret lubber?" Sirus shrieked, then started laughing. Remus groaned, and let his head fall down onto his desk. Light brown hair falling around his face, the rest of it falling along near his shoulders almost. Why Sirius? Why!?!? You know very well you were talking about my 'furry little problem' and now you yell something like that? Stop teasing me!, he yelled at an image of Sirius in his mind. He felt a hand start rather wailing on his frail back rather then patting, and he thought his ribcage was going to snap.
"James...stoppp!" He groaned, looking up at the messy black haired boy with glasses. He knew what the other boy wanted...chocolate. Or Lily...either one would make him emmensly happy. "I don't have any chocolate! I left it in the dorms." He said, trying to get James off of him, for the other young boy had thrown himself at Remus searching his pockets. He didn't want James to find his secret stash; the chocolate frog hidden in one of his inside pockets. He squirmed away, and managed to fall off his chair and nearly into Sirius lap. "s-sorry Sirius." He said, and tried to haul himself up from the floor back into the chair. James, had unfortunatly found the chocolate and was snacking on the sweet goodness. Remus sighed, and picked up the lessons book. Flipping through the pages to find todays lesson and get ahead in reading on it.
"What are you doing Remus? Live a little!" Sirius said, taking a quill and drawing a curly mustach on the smaller's upper lip. Remus widened his eyes, and was about to try and rub it off. "Don't! You'll smudge it!" Sirius said, and Remus dropped his hand with a scowl. Then the hilarity of the issue hit him, and he began to chuckle good heartedly. He was happy; sitting between his two most best friends in the world. Sometimes it was easier to forget about his nights of pain, and transformation.
